Juice Fast Days 5-6

Wow! Its been a minute since I have posted. Sorry about that, life caught up with me. I suppose I was still in vacation mode from the holidays but now I am ready for anything life throws at me!

Super quick rundown of Days 5-6 and I promise a more in depth post tomorrow...

Day 5

Clearly remembering that this was the day where the energy showed its beautiful face. Waking up at 6am raring to go and finally closing my eyes after 11pm. No naps, no fuss, and no crankiness. Even my cravings were non-existent! Great freakin' day!

Day 6

Matt and I had the opportunity to sleep in and we took full advantage... 10:30am felt uh-mazing. Took a little three hour car ride to Illinois to visit some family and that is where the mischief began. First we had to pack the juicer and all of our veggies we would consume over the next three days. And, I don't know about you but I love to eat in the car, LOVE IT! The snack-free car ride was tolerable but dinner later that night, not so much.

We CHEATED!! Matt's family gathering had some delicious food that we were forced to stare at and smell including: freshly smoked meat, strawberry feta salad, f*ing brownines, fresh baked bread, vegetable soup, veggies with ranch dip, and some yummy looking cheese-ballish dip with crackers. Hard to believe, but honestly we didn't eat a bit of any of that stuff. But then they brought out the final dessert: a fruit truffle with vanilla pudding and whipped cream topping. WHHHYYYY?! So we each had about a half a teaspoon of the whipped cream, and it was sinful and creamy and perfect!

So yeah, we cheated. Who cares?! It was well worth it. :)

Tomorrow will be a better day!
